Behind this name stands a 27-year-old, young woman and mother of two. She produces delicacies such as churchkhela, fruit-roll ups and wine; although she doesn’t work alone and is supported by her husband and other family members. Each of the products require a lot of time and effort to make, but Tamta and her family are very hard-working people and, as a team, they are able to achieve a lot together.
Tamta’s family are well known to tourists for their special hospitality. During the hot summer days, fresh spring water is used in the making of the wine and khinkali - that is truly when the symphony that is a Kakhetian ‘supra’, the Georgian word for feast, begins.
